After I sign into HBO Go, it redirects me to https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/premium-channels/hbo?lang=en&ui_style=dark
If I log into xfinity and try again it does the same thing but logs me out.
I have HBO on my account.
Same issue here, NvanPelt. I talked to a Comcast support person yesterday who "refreshed" my account settings somehow and HBO Go did work briefly / as expected. Today it is once again re-directing to https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/premium-channels/hbo?lang=en&ui_style=dark
I've tried unplugging router/modem, different web browsers, etc. Made no difference.
Same here; just started recently.
Everyone I've talked to tells me that "xfinity instant TV" is only 'intended to work with the xfinity streaming app and not on TV's or devices on TV's'.
So the question here is did xfinity break an experience that was working very satisfactorily for me (HBOGO on a Fire TV) on purpose or by accident.
Could somebody from xfinity weigh in on this topic?
Same issue here, I called Sunday and had a similar reset done (the support specialist made it seem like he removed and re-added the service to my account) and it worked fine until today.
I called again today when the same issue appeared. The first support specialist was unaware they supported HBO Go at all and seemed convinced it never worked, so I said thanks for your time and called again. Tech support roulette worked out better with the second specialist who forwared me up the chain to someone who mentioned there is currently an outage and gave me this outage number: SI28008757.
I spoke with support yesterday, and they did a reset on my "amp," whatever that is. It's worked so far and will have to see if it lasts. The biggest problem was getting the CS rep to understand what the problem was.
