I have Showtime and I know that Comcast hasn't authorized the app on Android TV (I have a nVidia Shield), but I've been looking around and it looks like HBO Go isn't authorized either for Android TV. Can I get an ETA for HBO GO to work with the Android TV? If there isn't a plan to authorize the app, I'll have to buy the subscription directly from HBO.

Hi JonathanRN -- We do not have an ETA for HBO GO on Android TV at this time.
Is there a place I can go or call to register my interest in having this done?
Maybe either the Comcast Facebook or Twitter accounts.
Here works or through Facebook/Twitter as well. Either way these requests are passed along for review.
When I ordered service I was lied to by the agent who told me it would work fine on my TV. Until Comcast / Xfinity supports my TV I will be cancelling service. Again... this is why you have so many cord cutters these days...
I apologize for the misinformation you were provided. Due to the nature of agreements involving, in this case, Comcast, android, and HBO, these situations are of high importance, but are also very complicated. I have submitted your feedback on this suggestion as well. We certainly do not want you to discontinue our services, and if there is anything else I can do for you, feel free to reach back out to me.

By the way this thread is marked SOLVED.....
It obviously is NOT SOLVED!!!!!
Comcast thinks that if someone asks how to do something, and Comcast answers that you can't do that, it's considered a solution.
I believe the OP marked it fixed. I haven't seen comcast mark something fixed (except when they are the OP), I have seen comcast unmark something fixed when the OP say it really isn't.
Edit: correction, I just saw comcast mark a post as fixed and it wasn't theirs
