Fox Sports Go (http://www.foxsports.com/foxsportsgo/) blocking access

I've noticed the following problem trying to access Fox Sports Go (http://www.foxsports.com/foxsportsgo/):

During the afternoon, I sign in and am able to watch, e.g., the World Cup match that's airing on Fox Sports 1.  In the evening, I receive a User Not Authorized error, regardless of what "On Now" stream I try to load, regardless of what Comcast user ID I use to log in.  I've tried deleting the cache and rebooting, different browsers and different PCs.  Nothing lets me watch.

This has happened multiple nights in a row.  I know this isn't strictly a Comcast/Xfinity problem, but since Fox and Comcast have to work together on some level, I figured I'd ask here.

It is not working for me either. Trying to watch US Open Golf. It lets me log in and choose a feed but, the video just keeps buffering, and never starts. Same thing happened with the Womens World Cup games.

Re: Fox Sports Go (http://www.foxsports.com/foxsportsgo/) blocking access

My problem was an authorization one.  I submitted a ticket to the Fox Sports Help system, and after a couple replies, got this explanation:

"Thank you for the additional information.  This is a known issue and our developers are currently looking into it."

I did get the video buffering problem during both World Cup matches and the US Open, but only after the stream was playing for a while.  Sometimes killing the stream and restarting got it going again, but sometimes it would freeze and buffer.

Then I hit on the real solution: Comcast offers Live TV streams on their site:

http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/watch-live-tv

and Fox Sports 1 is listed, at least for my area.  If you get FS1 in your area, you should be able to watch that way.  I never had the buffering or authorization problems using this method.  That seems to indicate that both problems are on Fox Sports' side.

Hope that helps.
