For the last week I have not been able to connect to Xfinity on my computer. I am charged for the service .

Fixed this by turning on "allow identifiers for protected content"
In Chrome go to settings > advance settings > content settings > protected content > then turn on Allow identifiers for protected content (computer restart may be required)
I normally do not post on forums, but after 2 hours of frustration dealing with comcast tech support i figured this out on my own.
Hope this saves someone from having to go through it too.
