Can't login to the HBO GO website using Xfinity

Can't login to the HBO GO website using Xfinity

Like many others I cannot log into the HBO Go website using my Xfinity login. When I try I'm just redirected a Xfinity page advertising HBO subscriptions. The fact that I already have one doesn't seem to matter. 

 

I'm hoping to get the reset or refresh that others have gotten which seemed to fix the issue. But since I can't PM an admin directly, I have no choice but to make post number 5494839 about this issue.

were you using the web site https://play.hbogo.com/ or a smart device and the HBOgo app? I just tried all 3 and they all worked.

I'm using the play.hbogo.com website on my pc using Google Chrome. I also tried to log in using Firefox and it also didn't work.

 

When I click the  link to log in using Xfinity as my provider, instead of loggin in, I'm redirected to this page: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/premium-channels/hbo?lang=en

 

When I navigate back to HBO GO, it still directs me to sign in to watch anything, at which point the cycle starts over again.

do you have HBO channels in your guide on the home X1 equipment? if so, can yiou tune t= them successfully to watch?
