channel freezes every night

channel freezes every night

Every night at about the same time the channel we are watching freezes up, and the cable after a few moments goes to another channel. If we try to go back we get a message saying the channel is unavailable. Usually happens around 7 or 8 p.m., doesn't seem to matter what channel we are watching. Has anybody else has this problem? After awhile the channel is available again..

do you have more than one set top box?

Yes we do have more than one.

Presently, your XG2 is out of the range it needs to be in to work properly, specifically your upstream signal levels. Unrelated to X1, your modem is also out of spec in the same area. To get back into spec, try to reduce/remove any extra unused splitters. If you can’t, have a tech out, it will not fix itself.
