X1 box continues to lose signal after being turned off for prolong period of time i.e. overnight have to either hit power bottom or call to do an refresh

Change setting to keep the box on all the time. That worked for me. In March my 2 year intro period will be up and I'll see about dealing with it then.
On my remote, Press Xfinity, then the Gear symbol, then Device Settings, and then Power Settings.
