X1 DVR - HD Preferred or SD Preferred only - No specific channel

X1 DVR - HD Preferred or SD Preferred only - No specific channel

Did a search and majority threads are old.

Just installed yesterday and trying to set up my series recording schedule

Searching for a show and trying to record the series only gives me HD Preferred and SD Preferred options under Channels - Does not give an option to record only a specific channel.

Was able to go to Guide and scroll through airings and record the some series that way, but for season ended shows, it's not on the list.

 

My question is how do I set up a series recording for a season ended show to record ONLY on a specific channel?

 

BTW - When I tried selecting HD Preferred on a show and went back to my scheduled recordings, it was showing about 50 different scheduled recordings from a bunch of different channels, but all in HD.

You’ll have to wait for ithe show to show back up on the guide. When you say not on the list, what list?

You’ll have to wait for it to show up in the guide on the channel that you want
