The box is stuck on one channel and won't respond to the remote. When I reset the box, the remote will work for about 5 seconds but will then freeze what's on the screen. I've unpaired/paired the remote and changed the batteries. Has anyone ran across this before? Thanks.

would you explain freeze what's on the screen? you can try to bypass the remote to diagnose the problem. on an iOS device, install and sign in to the xfinity TV remote app. select the TV icon and select the TV's set top box name where you are having the problem. then select the TV listings tab and touch the up/down/left/rigtht icon. on the next screen there are 3 pages. press the "xfinity' text. does the menu pop pu? can yhou navigate and press the center circle icon (enter) and select the menu items.
