I never had a problem with my satilite DVR cutting off shows. After switching to Comcast, it cuts every show off I DVR. I unfortunately remember back in the 80s when I had cable, it did the same thing. Why can't they after decades of this problem, come up with a solution? Satilite sure has! This especially makes my wife very un-happy. Because the system can't be made to operate as described, could I cancel without a penalty?
When I schedule a recording, I usually add 5 minutes; sometimes I have to add 30 minutes if there is a sports event previously. Comcast uses a third party for their schedules and they don't allow for overruns.
