We're having trouble connecting to the X1 Platform. rdk-03031

Like says in title. My main box doesnt wan to connect even with me pulling power and resetting box. it is only 1 box having problems, the other 2 boxes work fine and no problem with internet.

i found this on another post so i did it and here's my results.

1. Hold down exit button for more than 5 seconds
2. Press the down arrow twice
3. Press 2
4. Down to system and right arrow to page 5 of 9
Downstream received should be between 8 and -8
Downstream SNR should be over 35
Upstream Power should be between 35 and 51

RESULTS:

Freq 567

power -0.2

SNR red 38.2

all other  numbers are 0.0

i checked my amp/booster and the green light is on.

There is a bad connection, cable, wall plate or fitting leading up to that box. It sounds like the connection is bad enough that the box is not connecting with Comcast or making a very incomplete connection. There could be an unnecessary splitter reducing signal on that one line.

Unless you are fluent and comfortable with troubleshooting this sort of thing, call in and set up a service visit.

i fixed it. went thru and unscrewed all cables from amp to box, then screwed them all back in, also power cycled the amp and box again, now its working perfect.

I had the same problem.  All I did was disconnect the power cord from the DVR box and waiting about 1 minute and plugged it back in..it said "boot"...so then it went through startup -- powering up x1platform and it worked perfecting...connected right away.

Hope this helps...  I was ready to call Comcast..but tried this first.
