Sound does not match tv

Sound does not match tv

I had a new DRV installed a few weeks ago.  Now the sound does not match when anyone talks.  It is all out of sinc.  I have a 48" Vizio tv.  The DVR has the number XG1-A on the front.  Need help.  Thanks!

First thing to try - unplug the box from the power source and plug it back in.

each HDMI connected device has a unique ID that the TV uses to separate settings for that HDMI port. tune to a major network primetime channel and use your TV's remote to get into the audio menu. find lip-sync setting and adjust it +/- until you have the best match.
