Seems like daily, I see my cable box with word ‘boot’ and I get error rdk-03001 on tv screen. To fix I have to unplug cable box and replug then after 6 minute restart I am okay. I’d like to know Under the hood what is happening with this 3am firmware upgrade that I’ve read it failed or did not complete and that is the problem. Is there any kind of manual diagnosis I can do to monitor this?

Next thing to try is call 1800comcast and report the issue.
