RDK 03033

Every night around 9:30pm we loose our service and receive this error. Some night rebooting both the internet modem and the box work to turn it back on and other nights we have to wait it out. Usually on those nights we have it back by 7am.

We are on box number three since thus started happening about 8 weeks ago.

The solution to this error code could not be satisfactorily provided by Comcast tech support. Hence here are some steps which users can take to rectify the issue. The error code is related to streaming issue. This issue can happen at any point in the delivery mechanism. It can be from the server side as well as at the client side. The issue can also be in the delivery channel which is bandwidth and ISP conflict issues.

Most of the times, the error code can be rectified by simply restarting the device. Just switch off the Comcast receiver, unplug from the wall socket and then after a minute plug it back in. Another reason why the issue persists as per Comcast technical support 24 7 is the internet connectivity issue. Network strength can severely damage your streaming media capabilities and can set you back a couple hundred dollars. Since users pay for a 4k experience and do not have enough connectivity, it is an indirect loss for not getting what they pay for. Hence, resetting your internet connection can also cause this error to vanish. These solutions should work to resolve the error code."
