In addition to a daily update I'm having to reset my box practically every evening as the screen locks up. Also noticing the wifi icon at 1 bar when this starts happening. Both of the error messages mention the same thing, not able to communicate with the box etc.. Unit was installed by a tech 6 months ago and it's 5 ft away from the modem. No other issues with other devices. Is it time to replace the box?
The pace Xi5 is so small I did not know an ethernet connection was availble but I'll give it a try and get back in a day or so.
I've reset the gateway many times. Rebooting the Xi5 seems to fix the immediate problem and restores the signal. I have the XB6 DOCSIS 3.1 Modem and can only connect to the Xi5 via Wifi.
