do you need to reboot every box to restore functionality?
It won't make it any worse.
but if it's not going to improve anything, I would prefer not to do anything.
ATT Uverse used to talk about power cycling so often that I would power on and off in the morning and in the evening (while brushing teeth) because it would be their only recommended fix on everything.
what ended up happening is that the on/off cycles actually shorted out capacitors and I had to replace boxes......
