Cable TV and Computer on same monitor

I just got a new Samsung CF397 monitor.  It has two HDMI inputs on the back.  Is it possible to hookup my comouter to one and an Xfinity XiD-P cable box to the other?  If so, how do you control which signal is shown on the monitor?  Would be great to access my Xfinity DVR through this monitor as if it were a TV.

If your monitor has 2 hdmi inputs there should be a way to control those inputs. Look at your monitor’s manual

Nevermind.  The second input wasn't HDMI, so the setup I was hoping for won't work.  Thanks for the input, nonetheless.
