30 sec skip stopped working 2017

I had programmed a 30 second skip forward on my X1 remote.  As of this week, 4/24/17, it no longer works.  It now skips ahead 5 minutes.   Any suggestions?

The 'easter egg' hidden settings often reset when new hardware versions are installed. normally you can do the EXIT EXIT EXIT 0030 to change the setting back to 30 seconds.

Thank you for the quick response.  I did go ahead and try the unplug, disconnect cable, reconnect, and replug and it seems to be working again.  

 

FWIW: I use a 30 second forward, and a 15 Second back setting which works very well.

Just wanted to add that mine stopped working today, I tried the exit exit exit 0030 for a dozen or more times. As I was reading your post it occured to me to try exit exit exit 0500 followed by exit exit exit 0030 - it took!

Yes this worked. I was getting very frustrated that the 'simple' way wasn't working.

OMG I have been trying the exit, exit exit 0030 for days now. I tried your suggestion exit, exit exit 0500 followed by exit exit exit 0030 and it worked. Thank you sooooooooo much
