Two Factor Authentication Repeats Often

I enabled two factor authentication, but now I get 2-3 texts a day saying "Your Xfinity Codes is ######."

FOr a brief time, I considered blocking Xfinity.  Or disabling two factor.

Certainly there can't be that many attempts to log in to my account.  How do I minimize these false alerts?

Re: Two Factor Authentication Repeats Often

Hi @ripcord_tx

Thank you for using the Xfinity forum. Those texts can sometimes be annoying. Here are the steps to disable this feature.

  1. Sign in to My Account with your Xfinity username and password.
  2. Select the Settings tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  3. Select Username & Password in the left menu bar.
  4. On the right side of the page, you will see the Two-Step Verification option. Click Edit

My Account Username & Password screen.

This document is available on the Xfinity Support page. I hope this helps.
