x1 dvr problems

Hi All,
I have xfinity x1 service.
First question, where is the setting on the dvr for having the shows that I’ve recorded to always default to the recorded stuff. (no on demand/no shows I’ve watched and or what’s coming up next and last recording first. Seems kind of stupid to have to scroll around, it’s easier to watch the shows in sequence.
I’ve changed the settings, but I must change them again when I watch the DVR again.
Question 2
On demand isn’t all that good, picture is not very sharp, a lot of pixilation and sound/video shuddering.
When I pause the video, it takes a second to stop so it’s nowhere where I wanted stopped, and fast forward it terrible. Why aren’t the on demand shows not showing up in my recorded area?
Figured I come here first before calling Comcast.
