voice remote - troubleshoot

voice remote - troubleshoot

voice remote - i press and hold the voice button - the screen shows listening - blue light is solid on remote - i give command and release voice button -

blue light flashes several times then red light flashes twice - no response to query - i checked batteries and they were low so i put new ones in - tried again with same response

Try standing as close as you can to the STB.

Try resetting the box and then re-pairing the remote.

Press and hold setup (LED goes from red to green), press Xfinity button and enter the 3 digit code

What do we do if we aren’t getting a 3 digit code? We have reset the box once, changed batteries in the remote and reset the remote to factory settings. When we hit the Xfinity button the light flashes red and green. What do we try now?

You can call 1800comcast and ask them to send you a new remote.
