sec network problems

Ok so after 2 weeks of struggling with comcast, being sold the wrong package and having to return equipment twice, then im told its a problem in the area and they will send out a technician in 24-48 hours, 4 days pass no call and no technician so i call again, they tell me to return the equipment,   ive been on the phone for numerous hours dealing with several employees and now after all that all they can tell me is that the network is down and having problems... should be up in a couple of hours... well i still cant get the sec network to work in denver i know the channel is 432 and thursday nights game is the only reason that i got the stupid package from comcast which ive had to upgrade twice to get the channel. Now I want to know whats going on and why cant i access channel 432 which is the only reason i got comcast and upgraded, since all the bars in town are yet to get the sec network, will it be up in time for the game thursday, im super stressed and need to see the gamecocks play, im pheening here and need my fix. please respond asap.

What tv tier do you subscribe to?

Have you checked to see if you can get it on the HD channel?  According to the Channel Finder on the SEC Network website hd is on  706.

Apologies for the issue and the experience that you described above.

To be clear, in Colorado, a subscription to our Digital Preferred level of service or higher is required to receive the SEC Network. If you are seeing Not Authorized, that may be the issue.

The systems in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Florida that will offer this channel will have SEC Network on the Digital Starter package and systems launching in any other state will offer SEC Network as part of the Digital Preferred package.

If you are seeing a One Moment Please message, that message is almost always related to local or individual signal or connection issues. The issue can occur on a single channel or multiple channels due to the frequency or frequency range that the channel is delivered on. Changes in temperatures can also aggravate the issue.

Check to be sure that all of your cable connections are snug.

Box swaps, box refreshes and multiple box refreshes may not resolve this issue if there is an underlying local signal issue.

Give us a call at 1-800-COMCAST and we can start the troubleshooting process and get this resolved. Insist on a technician visit so that the signal levels can be reviewed and adjusted if necessary. There is no charge if the issue is determined to be with our equipment or originating outside your home.

Thanks for your patience.

Apologies if I wasn't as clear as I could have been.

The issue you are having is definitely not widespread and the SEC Network is not having trouble telecasting. They are up and running.

The issue you are having is most likely limited to your specific area or home and likely will require a technician visit. Please give us a call at 1-800-COMCAST to schedule that.

I will send a signal to reset your boxes now, but as mentioned above in my earlier post, if there is an underlying signal issue, that will need to be reviewed and addressed by a technician on site.
