problem with HBO and Showtime playing in Spanish

It seems my HBO and SHowtime are set to Sapnish and all other channels play in English. This seems strange to me. Any way to fix this?

Do you have SAP (secondary audio program) turned on?  If you click on settings (looks like a gear icon) and select "Language" you will find the setting.

Thanks...yes, I am set for English and it's just these premium channels that are playing in Spanish. That's what is confusing.

Sounds like a mix-up in the way your account is set up.  Call Comcast Customer Service.

I will do that when I have 2 hous to be on the phone. Their support is awful!

Actually, there is no account setting in the billing system that will cause your channels to play back in Spanish. There is an HBO Latino channel with Spanish language programming (possibly a similar Showtime channel). Are you by chance selecting that channel instead of the main HBO/Showtime channels?  

 

If not, click the "SAP" icon on the video player page (when playing back video) and ensure SAP is set to "English".

I have the same problem in Showtime, which I just got 2 days ago. When I switch to a showtime channel it is in English for a few seconds then a pause then switches to spanish. I have looked settings using the comcast clicker I go to menu>setup>audio settings the language under Default Audio Track is set to Spanish when, but I cannot change it - there is no other option. However all the regular (non premium channels) are in English. I don't see anything called SAP. Any other ideas?

We are having the exact same problem you describe. We can get to the "default audio track" but it will not let us change from "Espanol" to English. Our account has NEVER been set to spanish.
