I have the pr150bnc x1 box with no DVR. The problem is using it has become very slow, doing a search takes about 5 seconds per letter and is just a frustrating experience, is it possible to upgrade to a newer model ? If so what should i ask for ? thank you

Yes, you can go into a local service center and pick up new equipment at any time. You can take your old equipment in with you to swap it out, or you can just go pick up another modem or cable box and then ship your old equipment back to us via UPS or return it to a Comcast store later. When you go into the store just let them know you need the newest cable box available to replace the equipment that you have now.
