loss of hearing

I'm using headphones to listen to movies and streaming program's but for some reason when I connect to xfinity and watch their programs I can hear the advertisements just fine but as soon as the video starts to play I no longer can hear it.  Anybody got any idea's?

Are they bluetooth? Does the problem happen without the headphones?

Re: loss of hearing

I don't have speaker's to test out with.  And my headphones are direct connect (via sound boards jacks).  Just seems odd that they work perfect except on xfinity video's.  Even the advertisements before the video comes on sound just fine.
