what is the error number and explanation text that you are seeing? What is the symptom of the problem? watching live TV? on-demand? recordings?

it's CAST and that means the DVR is having trouble connecting. The DVR's and your modem's signal levels are awful and out of the range that they're supposed to be in to work properly. You'll need a tech out to troubleshoot further. If you need assistance scheduling one, let us know.
