delete shows XFINITY TV Remote app

I downloaded the maximum 10 shows from the XFINITY TV Remote app.  After I have watched them, do I need to delete them to download additional shows or do they delete automatically.  If I need to delete them please describe how to do this.

Well, they do auto delete after 30 days, but you can delete them yourself, you can either swipe left or click recording options, not sure why this is confusing.

Only figured this out by accident...tap a download as if you are going to watch it (based on the old app's pathway), only now you are tapping the download for options.

click "Return" and it "Returns" your download to the undownloaded content in data base, a.k.a. deletes it from your device.

after "Returning" it replaces "Return" option with "download" option.


Lame if you're used to the old app where all you did was tap and hold until highlighted then click the trash can icon which was so easy a caveman could do it.
