Xfinity beta and Roku and I’d discovery

I want to post this again because of some snafu I could not get an answer. Thanks
Why can’t I watch ID Discovery channel on Xfinity beta without a “key” to most shows.? After I installed it and have a years contract did I realize they didn’t have it. In order to get it I have to expand my plan for a cost of $40 a month. All I want is that one channel. I don’t know if I can break this contract or not. All of my favorite shows are on that channel

Re: Xfinity beta and Roku and I’d discovery

Hello unbakedpegga, thank you for reaching out to me regarding this concern. Some premium channels like HBO can be viewed outside of your Comcast apps, but most networks like "ID Discovery Channel" can only be viewed on your cable box or through our Xfinity Stream app.
