Xfinity - The best seat for the Big Game

Catch all the action of the big game, with Xfinity and Xfinity Stream. Whether it is in your home or on-the-go catch everything from first down to last pass.


If you can't catch the game live, we recommend recording it on your DVR. Auto Extend will automatically kick on if the game runs longer than originally scheduled. You will see this icon (if your On-Screen Notifications are on):

However, we always recommend that you set any programs after the game to record so you ensure that you don't miss any of the action, especially if the game goes into overtime.

If you are looking to enable/disable SAP (Secondary Audio Programing) while watching the big game on X1 you have 2 options on your Xfinity X1 TV box:


  1. SAP Transport Bar

To enable SAP using the Transport Bar:

  • While watching full-screen video, press the play/pause button two times on your XFINITY remote. The transport bar and playback controls will pop up on the lower third of the screen.

**Note**: Voice Guidance is not configured to speak the options on the transport bar.

  • Press the left key to highlight and select the icon with three dots, which will reveal the option to turn on or off SAP, Closed Captioning (CC) and Descriptive Video Service (DVS).


  1. Chose Audio Language in Settings

To access Audio Language Settings:

  • Press the xfinity button on your remote.
  • Highlight Settings (the gear icon) and press OK on your remote.

  • Highlight Language and press OK on your remote.

  • Use the down arrow on your remote to highlight Secondary Audio Programming (SAP). Press OK to turn SAP on or off.

  • Use the down arrow on your remote to choose your SAP language, highlight the SAP Language and press OK

  • Select your language from the list and press OK on your remote.

  • Press Exit on your remote to finish.
