Xfinity TV Player Android App - deleting download devices

Regarding the Xfinity Player app for android.

The app only allow 3 devices to be approved download devices.  The only way I can find to remove a device is from that device.  My issue is, I had my phone die, and it no longer works, so I can not use it to deauthorize itself.  Is there any other way to remove a device from the app?

When I go to Manage Authorized Devices, I see Download 2 Go (0), but when I click on it, nothing happens.  I've tried this on two separate computers.

So, how can I authorize devices?

I see noplace in the Xfinity TV Player app to authorize anything.  I see a list of devices on the web page, but cannot delete any of them either.

None of this appears to work quite as it should.

in the player app, find a downloadable show and hit download, it will ask you if you want to authorize

How can you unauthorize a device if you no longer have access to it?

You have to go to https://device.comcast.net/devices on your PC or Mac to deactivate a device. You cannot do this on the app itself for security reasons.

For anyone else who stumbles upon this post I figured I would clarify. You must be the primary account, from my experience, in order to remove devices using: https://device.comcast.net/devices.

Yep it works.  After being on the phone for an hour, transferred 3 times , given a number that didn't work, and being hung up.  Finally works.
