Every day we’re working to make Xfinity TV programming available to our customers in more ways including the Xbox, connected TVs, on websites like Xfinity TV and HBOGo, on mobile devices, and on other devices.  We will continue to work with our partners to deliver even more choices to our customers in more places.

Once we have more information about the Windows 8 Phone, I will update this thread.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Windows Phone 8

Thanks for the update Joe.  I just switched from Android to WP8 and its awesome.  I really hope you can develop a Xfinity app similar or better than the existing Android app!

Re: Windows Phone 8

Need Windows RT-compatible app

Windows 8 sales may be slower than XP's, but it still sold 40 million in the first month. Is that significant enough to port the web site to an HTML/JavaScript app? The Silverlight-compatible video should be compatible and much of your javascript library should work. It's not hard to write apps for Win8 and you can utilize your web skills to do so.

Re: Windows Phone 8

We have just released an Xfinity TV Remote application for Windows Phone 8.

This app allows you to control your cable box remotely. It does not do video playback on the device.
