Weather Scan

How can the Weather Scan channel or the Weather channel (Local on the 8's) be changed to show weather my my region and not the Pittsburgh market area?

Re: Weather Scan

The Weather Channel greatly reduced the number of "local" areas. What you see is as local as it gets.

OK, but it's not the same feed as the television feed.Weather Channel does have a feed for our region but that feed does not show up on any device other than a TV. ???

Hi barbie123. Unfortunately we don't have any control over the weather that is provided in each local area.

Re: Weather Scan

No, my question was not answered well. The television Weather Scan & Weather Channel feed is correct. However, the stream feed from ComCast on any other device like desk top, lap top or I pad only shows Pittsburgh weather. There should be a way to change the streamed feed to match the television feed.

i will definitely be checking on FIOS to see if i can get weatherscan there.  Having a real time radar image of my local area was one fo the FEW reasons i kept paying exorbitant fees to xfinity!  Now that it is gone....why keep paying?
