Voice Remote

I just recieved 2 new voice remotes and have paired them. They are working but the microphone does not. TV says the microphone part will not work on my top boxes. My top boxes are almost 5 years old now. Could they be to old for this function? If so can i exchange them for newer ones?

Adding to Rick, you can swap out the 2 RNG150 boxes anytime at your local service center.

Re: Voice Remote

Adding to Andrew,

The XG2 box works with voice command, it is faster, has access to internet apps and will pause Live TV. It is a vastly better X1 experience but it costs the same $$$ per month as the boxes you have now.

Re: Voice Remote

adding... 'if' your TV requires a component video connection then the RNG150 and the pace version 1 DVR are the only ones to have the component video output jacks.

Re: Voice Remote

I took both the old X1 boxes back and exchanged them for the new ones. All is good now. Thanks for the advice.
