Very Hot X1 box

Is My X1 box supposed to get hot? It is very hot to the touch, and smells like hot plastic. I haven't had this problem since I got the box 3 months ago. Nothing is blocking the vents. What should I do??  Thanks

You can swap it out anytime if you feel that it’s too warm

Re: Very Hot X1 box

I also have a very hot X1 box, feels like it will burn my hand when I pick it up - concerned it may cause a fire - have you returned the box for a new one, if so, did it resolve the problem?
