Using Macbook Pro OS X with Safari 5.1.1 Can't get any Xfinity TV to play

Just got a new Macbook Pro.  I can't get Xfinity Tv content of any type to play.  I get error messages: #560, Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty playing your video.  or, #570 This video cannot be played, there appears to be a problem with this version of IE 9.

I've downloaded Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlite something or another add ons.  I've tried 32 bit mode

and  64 bit mode.  I also tried Mozilla Firefox ver 11.0, also 32 and 64 bit modes.

Thanks for any assistance, very frustrating.

Premium channels and Comedy Central.  NBC, ABC, CBS play perfectly.  I have package for HBO so that is not the issue.  The issue, I believe has to do with my new MacBook Pro which came with Lion but Apple Store Genius Bar retro installed Snow Leopard.  Old MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard worked perfectly.  Get message "This video cannot be played. Sorry, this video is currently unavailable. (Error 6205)"  Even Comcast technical support does not know what Error 6205 means.

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Been there, done that.  Same issue in Safari, Firefox, Chrome. What is strange is that I can go to HBO to go and using my xfinity sign in watch HBO without a problem. Go figure.

Do you have any anti-virus software installed? Your firewall may be blocking Silverlight videos from playing. Make sure that Xfinitytv.com is set up as an exception so it can pass through your firewall.

Also, if possible, have you tried watching a video on another computer? If so, are you getting the same error message?
