Yes I have both. The TV remote app only works when I'm at home. The other app won't connect. Just talked to Xfinity and found out that I need to have the cloud technology on the box and that the cloud technology is not available in my area. What a shame...I'm in Silicon Valley. You'd think everything would be available in Silicon Valley. Oh well..thanks for your reply.
