My TV goes blank while we're watching something. It stays blank for maybe 30 to 60 seconds, then comes back on. It's a 720 pixel TV and I noticed the cable box is set for 1080? Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've tried everything but switching box to 720 from 1080, because I have no idea how to do that and am not sure that will help anyway. I hooked up a 1080 pixel TV and the box jumps down to 720. It keeps going back and forth. Shouldn't it stay on one or the other according to what size pixel TV you have installed?
No, usually the box goes to whatever it is set to. Turn the box off and press menu or guide to get to the resolution settings. Like you said though it may not help, but you can certainly try.
