what inputs does your slingbox allow? teh remote being paired RF won't stop IR from working.

Just altered my post. I wasn’t clear. I can’t get the sling remote functionality to work, even after I disabled RF.

Pairing a remote RF doesn't disable the IR sensor on the box itself so that should still be operational.  I'd guess the code you picked isn't the proper one for the Sling sensor.  When I still had mine hooked up to my X1 box I had to use the remote code for the older legacy style platinum colored Cisco remotes.

Slingbox 500 on x1. Remote question

New to xfinity. Big Slingbox fan. Bought converter box to allow xfinity set top box to work with Slingbox. Can see video from
Slingbox app on droid, iPhone and on PC. But the sling “virtual” remote doesn’t work. I think I have to disable RF on xfinity remote and return to IR. I have an XR15 remote. Found a page on this forum guidance to do that. Still doesn’t work. Can anyone help me
