Take a look at your connections. There’s a large discrepancy in signal levels on your equipment. Modem is well within spec but your DVR is almost out of spec. Also, remove any extra unneeded splitters.

I am having the same issue. The X1 platform is not working properly. I got a refresh from Comcast which got me back to live TV, but in short order same issues -- can't connect, can't change channels, can't use any of the functions. I am considering not keeping the X1 boxes but returning them and keeping my old ones. I don't care about voice control and I really dislike what I have to go through to find out just what movies are starting at any given time. The old set up was much better.
