I'm running into the same situation as you. Been on the phone with Comcast about a dozen times the last couple of weeks and also had a tech visit but they just can't figure out cable cards it seems (some of the calls were over an hour long trying to get the card activated and working properly).
Looking through the forums there seems to be lot of people in the same issue unfortunately. In my case the tech visit was a wasted 3 hour visit as all he did was call the same people I had talked to on the phone many times before. I even printed out silicondust's (I think that's the name of the company the makes the homerun prime) resolution, which is to have the phone rep or technician get in contact with the local operations department (the headend department) because the hub/headend setting on the cards are wrong. According to them the Motorola cards have the ability to have multiple virtual channel lineups set on the same cable system so the CableCard has to be set to look for a specific one, which is what the VCTID is. Any way I've explained that a few times to the reps and technicians I've been working but no one seems to know about that mysterious department that can resolve this issue.
