Hello, Anon730911. Thank you for your feedback regarding our Auto Extend feature. I apologize for the poor experience you've had utilizing this feature to record baseball games over the past 5 days. I will pass along your feedback regarding our Auto Extend feature to our engineers. Please let me know if you need assistance in the future.
Very disappointed in the Auto Extend feature. On my TiVo I could extend an hour or more to sports events. I switched to Xfinity and noticed the Auto Extend feature. I thought it was a nice touch. I have tried it on 3 baseball games in the past 5 days. Did not work on any one of them. It stopped the recording whenever it felt the time was up. I did not see an option to add time to a recording like TiVo does. Xfinity says use their Auto Extend so the user does not have to worry. Well, it does not work.
I'm sorry that you had a bad expereince. We had a few issues with the auto extend feature last week that could have impacted your games, but are working to resolve them. In additon, you can add etxtra time to any of your recordings by visiting the "Record Options" for the particular program and scrolling down to the Start and Stop settings, where you can add time to the beginning or end.
