I've found that lately when programming 30 sec advance, after hitting exit 3 times, then 0030, then exit again, it's necessary to push the blue power button on the box off, then on again for the programming to take. I say do it at the box because my XR-11 won't power anything off. (Get red light on remote instead of green, could be due to mine having power saving setting set to off in device settings.)
I've had the 30-second skip set on my boxes for 1.5 years. I come home tonight and now it doesn't work. The EXIT EXIT EXIT 0030 no longer works.
1) Why did this stop working in the first place?? (rhetorical question)
2) How can I reprogram my boxes with the XR11 remote to re-enable the 30-second jump?
5 minutes jump is absurd. Please help. Thanks.
