Problem recording a program

We set up many programs to be taped on PBS. We have two PBS stations and one just stopped broadcasting. Xfinity keeps taping on that channel giving us a blank recording. It should recognize that the channel does not exist and tape the program on our working PBS channel. I know I can individually cancel recordings and then set it up again. I should not have to (there may be 20+ programs to change and many may not start up again for a year). When I set up taping for “Michigan Football” it taped it no matter what channel it aired on. It should do the same.

Re: Problem recording a program

Because they’re setup for channel DEF, the DVR doesn’t know that they’re on XYZ, so you’ll have to change your settings by delete and resetting the recording.

Re: Problem recording a program

When I set up recording "Michigan Football" it taped it even though it was on ESPN one week, BTN the next and/or ABC.  Shouldn't it do the same?  I didn't set up my recordings based on a specific channel.  Also, why is it continuing to record DEF? Doesn't it know DEF doesn't exist?
