I had to run coax to my far bedroom because wifi wasn't strong enough; there is just too many walls, etc. to get a good connection.  When Comcast rolls out their mesh network to more markets, wifi will get better.  

I haven't heard any mention of newer X1 boxes yet.


I am not a Comcast employee; I am just a customer, volunteering my time to help other customers here in the Forums.

Poor wireless box performance

When is Comcast going to work out the bugs with the wireless boxes?  We have to constantly reboot ours, and have been told nothing can be done other than convert it to a wired box.  We aren't asking for anything other than for it to work, and not have to be rebooted multiple times each day.
