Playback issue 1002

Hello, I am trying to watch homeland and i am getting playback issue -1002. When i try to download to my Ipad The Xfinity TV Go just close. pls coukd you help me?

Hi,

 

Sorry to hear about your experience.

 

Can you try going to the following website:

 

https://device.comcast.net/devices

 

Go to the 'Download 2 Go' tab.

 

Remove all your devices.  (by clicking on the Remove button)

 

Once completed - attempt to try your download - you will be prompted to re-authorize your device.

I am getting this error as well. I deauthorized all my devices and when I try downloading any show the app crashes, when I try and watch a show via my ipad it give me the playback issue -1002 and says the techs will fix this. I have had this issue for a year or so now and eventually give up and watch it on my computer, but I want it fixed!
