Play DVR Recordings from DVR Manager

Why is the link to https://xtv.comcast.net/ not present in either the DVR Manager or the Watch TV webpage?  I have to Google how to watch my recorded programs to find this link in your FAQ?  It seems like a major oversight.

Please make the link to watch your DVR recorded shows obvious and on multiple pages.

Thanks...

Re: Play DVR Recordings from DVR Manager

I'm confused..

Are you saying that you are able to watch on your computer, the programs that you've recorded on your television?

Is there some sort of different system available that enables a subscriber to do that?

ciao, bj

Yes, at this address.  https://xtv.comcast.net/  but it's very hard to find.  They should put a link to this address in several places of their website.  I can't figure out why they don't unless they just haven't got anyone competent in UI and UX?

Possibly this poster's question should be asked in the : http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/X1/bd-p/X1    forum?

Guys and Gals, you can watch your DVR recordings in any web browser at this address.

https://xtv.comcast.net/recordings

My comment is and this forum post seems to highlight the issue, Comcast needs to put this link in several places on their website.  (i.e. DVR Manager Page and under "TV")

Dave,

I certainly got an education reading the info on the X1 technology and system, including the cloud.

Correct me if I'm in error, you must purchase $$ the X1 system, and it's extra $$ for the cloud technology.

Since I have neither, I was at a complete loss as to what you were talking about.

As I mentioned above, there is a forum devoted here to the X1.

Nope.... I do not have Cloud enabled in my market yet.... so I "must" be within my home network in order to use the link above....   The above link does not allow me to view anything on my X1 DVR's... ( 2 of them ).

I upgraded my HD Preferred to the X1 HD Preferred...  since I had triple play, my actual cost went down a little...  it does vary by market though....

I'm pretty active in the X1 forums and I know that CLOUD is coming to my market in the August 2015 timeframe.... yes I added 2015 because I have seen this rollout date slip for the last year!!!!
