PLAYING DVDS

I HAVE A SONY DVD PLAYER HOOKED UP TO MY LG TV.  I HAVE XFINITY.

WHAT CHANNEL DO I USE TO WATCH THE DVDS?

MANUALS DONT SAY WHAT CHANNEL TO USE.

how do you have the dvd player hooked up to your tv?  Normally modern dvd players are hooked up via component cables or hdmi cables.  Some just use the yellow red and white cables that come free with it. 

 

to view a dvd you need to choose the input of your tv that you have the dvd player connected to.  the tv should say on the back input 1 2 3 etc.  you use your tv's remote and hit the input button to change to that input.

 

If you are using a very old tv then you can press the channel down button to go before channel 2 and that was where the inputs use to be found.    This really is not a comcast issue though.
