Output volume adjustment for Arris AX014ANC X1 DVR

I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the output volume of the Arris AX014ANC?  I'm not talking about the volume control on the TV or the remote, rather I'm talking about the line volume that comes out of the unit via the HDMI connection which connects to my Yamaha AV Receiver.


Sound out of the X1 system is at a significantly lower volume and requires me to adjust the volume on the receiver by a significant amount (when compared to volume output of other sources - e.g. DVD, CD).


I've gone through all of the setup menus for system sound and did not come across any adjustment like I'm looking for, so this may not be an option.  Not the end of the world, but would be a nice-to-have improvement for future devices.


Any assistance would be appreciated.
