Non-DVR device with RGB out for xFi

I just switched to xFi, and of course none of the boxes have RGB outputs. I have perfectly good HDTVs that are pre-HDMI and just have component in. Are there any non-DVR boxes for the xFi network that have RGB out? I think I read elsewhere, but it was not in the xFi forum, that it would mean that I would forfeit some of the advanced xFi features. I don't want to.

Thanks.

Your X1 service has nothing to do with xFi.

Here is a list of X1 equipment.

thanks robert. i was actually kind of thinking that. xFi is the wifi service, right? funny though that comcast wanted to upgrade all my equipment when i wen tto the local store asking about the xFi upgrade.

thanks for the chart too, very informative. so, i have 2 HDTVs that only have component and not HDMI, and it seems the my old boxes with the RGB connections should still have the advanced features like pausing TV, which they didn't before. I guess that's just an upgrade in the OS?

whoops! i take that back. i was looking a the chart on my phone, and now on my PC. the rng150 can't pause live tv. i guess if i want that feature, i'll have to put up with the rf, or get a converter.

thanks again.

You can exchange the RNG150 for an XG2 for free at your Xfinity Store.  I took two to mine (STB only, no cords, no remotes) and they gave me two XG2 packages with all cables and voice remotes.

Only the RNG150 has component out, the XG2 has composite out (Y,W,R).

That what I thought from all the documentation I've seen, but the Comcast tech I was speaking to insisted that the Samsung xg2 had component out, and is shipping one to me. I guess I'll see when I get it.

Unfortunately Comcast does not offer an X1 box that is both desirable (a box you would want to have) and has component outputs...

yep, only the RNG150, which i should never have traded in, and which i don't seem to be able to get anymore. Smiley Sad
