No TV guide

I've lost my TV Guide and it pops up a window saying it will be restored and yet its been almost 24 hours and nothing yet. I've unplugged it and waited a minute and then plugged it back in and nothing. What else can I try before I call and have them tell me I've got to go drive to their shop?
